Which businesses actually work in Bloxburg
Cafes are the safest first shop. They are small, they fill up fast when friends visit, and you can finish one on a normal plot without owning every gamepass. The Fall Cafe and the Timberline Cafe on this page are both that size. A bakery is the same idea with a bigger counter and more display space, which is what makes the Pink Bakery Cafe and the Autumnbrook Bakehouse feel busier inside.
Diners and restaurants take more room because you need a kitchen, a service pass and enough seating that the place does not look empty. The Downtown Diner is the compact version of that. Kasfro Cia Restaurant is the opposite end, a full sit-down restaurant with a proper kitchen behind it.
A nail salon is worth mentioning on its own. It is one of the most searched Bloxburg shop ideas and one of the least built, because the detail work is fiddly. Ours is a finished one you can have put up on your plot instead.
What a business build needs on your plot
Shops need more floor area than a house of the same price, so plot size matters more than usual. Anything with an upstairs seating area or an inn above it needs Multiple Floors, and most of the detailed interiors here use Advanced Placing for the small props. Every listing on this page states its own requirements, and you should read those before ordering rather than assuming.
The in-game money you need is on each listing too. Business builds are usually cheaper to furnish than a mansion of the same size, because a shop floor is mostly open space, but the fittings behind a counter add up faster than people expect.
