Two numbers people mix up#
Every Bloxburg house has a price in in-game money, the dollars you earn from jobs. That is the number this guide is about. It is separate from Robux, which you only need for gamepasses like Large Plot or Multiple Floors.
The prices below come from two places. Bloxburg's own prebuilt houses, which you can pick when you start or when you open a new plot, have fixed prices set by the game. And our finished builds each list their real plot cost, meaning the in-game money it takes to place every item, which we record every time we build one.
Before any budget: without gamepasses your plot is 30x30 and one floor. Large Plot grows it to 50x50, and Multiple Floors lets you build up to five storeys. Our plot size guide covers exactly what each one changes.
Under $25,000#
This is where every new player starts, and you can make something genuinely nice here without a single gamepass.

A free empty plot plus a well planned small house beats most prebuilts at this price, because you choose the layout. These are real complete homes by Bloxburg creators, all built for around $20,000 to $35,000 with no gamepasses.
What these have in common: one floor, small rooms, and the money spent where you stand most, the kitchen and living room, rather than spread thin across the whole plot.
None of our builds sit this low. Our smallest currently needs $80,511 to place, so at this budget a prebuilt or your own small build is the honest answer.
$25,000 to $60,000#
Enough for a proper small family home. Every prebuilt in this range works without gamepasses.

How to make any budget go further#
- Undo instead of selling. Undoing a placement refunds 100%. Selling in the same Build Mode session refunds 95%, and selling later only 70%. Try things, then undo.
- Spend on the rooms you use. Kitchens and living rooms are seen constantly. Guest bedrooms nobody enters can stay simple.
- Landscaping is where money disappears. On big builds the garden often costs more than the house. Plan it last and add to it over time.
