How do you buy a house in Bloxburg?

When you first join you pick either a free empty plot or a prebuilt house bought with in-game money. To get another house later, buy a new house slot for 300 Blockbux, then choose an empty plot or a prebuilt for it.

The empty plot is free. The cheapest prebuilt house is Happy Home of Robloxia at $7,500, with one bedroom and one bathroom, and it needs no gamepasses.

How do you choose your plot location in Bloxburg?

Only with the Premium gamepass. Premium players get a menu to pick where their plot loads on the map. Everyone else is given a plot at random.

How many houses can you have in Bloxburg?

You can own more than one. Each extra house slot costs 300 Blockbux, and you choose which house to load from the Houses menu.

How to Buy a House in Bloxburg (Prebuilts, Plots and House Slots)

Your first house#

The first time you join, Bloxburg asks you to pick a house. There are two ways to go:

An empty plot, for free. You build everything yourself in Build Mode. Most people who want a house that is truly theirs start here.
A prebuilt house, for in-game money. A finished house made by one of Bloxburg's builders, ready to move into. You can still change anything in it afterwards.

Some prebuilts need gamepasses, usually Multiple Floors or Advanced Placing, because they were built with them. If you do not own those, the game will not let you pick that house.

Prebuilts you can buy without gamepasses#

These need no gamepasses at all. Prices are the in-game money cost listed on the Welcome to Bloxburg Wiki. The style is the tag Bloxburg gives each house.

Best value for a family: Dainty Dwelling at $52,500 is the only one under $60,000 with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The bigger prebuilts, up to Tuscan Tradition at $1,380,000, mostly need gamepasses.

Getting another house#

You are not stuck with your first choice. From the Houses menu you can buy a new house slot for 300 Blockbux, then pick an empty plot or a prebuilt for it. Your old house stays saved in its own slot, and you choose which one to load when you play.

Blockbux come in small amounts from skill levels, daily rewards and events, or can be bought with Robux. A slot is a good way to try a second style without tearing down a house you like.

Choosing where your plot goes#

By default the game puts your plot somewhere at random on the map each time you join. The only way to pick the spot yourself is the Premium gamepass, which shows a plot selection menu when you press Play.

Premium also halves your bills and doubles daily rewards, which is why it tends to pay for itself on an expensive house. The Premium page on the wiki suggests finding a spot you like and loading there every time, which makes roleplays with the same friends much easier.

What a house costs after you buy it#

Bills. Every in-game week you pay 0.6% of the house value, or 0.3% with Premium. Our bill calculator works it out for your house.
